Massoud Moslehi, M.Ed. CCC, RCC

I am a certified counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy association (CCPA-ACCP # 1860) (and a clinical counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC #18341).

As a therapist, I am dedicated to the care and wellness of my clients. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have special interests in mood and anxiety disorders, children, and adolescent counselling. My approach is to be curious, get to know you, explore what is happening for you and your goals. I bring a blend of compassion, challenge and activation in supporting your growth.

After my formal education at McMaster University (BA) and the University of Victoria (MEd.), I have continued to advance my skill set. I have received training in therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IPT-A), Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and Gottman Method level 1 (couples counselling). Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). In providing high-quality care, I have collaborated with families, physicians, Ministry of Children and Family Development, and teachers.

I have experience in facilitating healing groups, clinical supervision, and teaching.

I am an associate faculty member with City University of Seattle and have enjoyed teaching masters level counselling students. In addition, I have supervised students to complete their practicum placement.
